A medieval market took place in Lanjaron on the weekend of August 14-16. Designed
to celebrate the ancient blend of Jewish, Arab and Christian cultures in Moorish
times, the event featured stalls, music and pastimes evoking Al Andalus. At night,
entertainment in the plaza included popular live act, Al Caravan with its beautiful
belly dancer, Serena, as well as pyrotechnics and a snake charmer.
